How It's Made
A Step-By-Step Walkthrough
CHAPTER ONE
IDEA & SKETCHING
We look for inspiration in daily life, retro details, and personal stories. We sketch and refine our ideas for weeks until we are sure the design has a character worth wearing.
CHAPTER TWO
THE DESIGN & ELIMINATION
This is where patience meets art. We spend weeks, sometimes months, sketching and re-sketching a single concept. We are highly self-critical; nearly half of our initial ideas are discarded at this stage because they don’t meet our strict standards for comfort, balance, and aesthetic power.
CHAPTER THREE
PRECISION 3D MODELING
We transfer our hand-drawn sketches into advanced CAD software. This digital phase ensures absolute structural accuracy and allows us to perfect every micro-detail of the ring before it goes into production.
CHAPTER FOUR
WAX PRINTING & REDESIGN
We turn the digital model into a physical reality using high-resolution 3D wax printers. Holding the ring changes everything. We inspect how it catches the light and how it feels on the finger. If it doesn't feel perfect which happens 70% of the time we immediately go back to the drawing board and redesign.
CHAPTER FIVE
THE RUBBER MOLD
Once a prototype is flawless, we create a master silicone or rubber mold. This mold becomes the permanent matrix of the design. High-pressure injectors then shoot molten hot wax into this rubber mold, creating perfect, identical wax replicas of the ring for the upcoming casting process.
CHAPTER SIX
WAX TREE ASSEMBLY
A master silversmith painstakingly attaches each individual wax ring onto a central wax stem, building what is known as a "casting tree." This is a highly critical phase requiring surgical precision; the slightest error in the tree's geometry will obstruct the flow of the precious metal.
CHAPTER SEVEN
LOST-WAX CASTING
The wax tree is placed inside a steel flask and covered with a plaster-like investment material. The flask goes into a high-temperature kiln where the wax melts away, leaving a perfect hollow negative. We then pour molten 925 sterling silver into the mold at extreme temperatures, transforming fluid metal into solid art.
CHAPTER EIGHT
THE 925 STERLING STANDARD
Pure silver is too soft to hold a shape. That is why we use the global standard: 92.5% pure silver mixed with 7.5% metal alloy. This composition gives the silver the necessary hardness and durability to last for generations on your finger.
CHAPTER NINE
HAND-FILING & CLEANING
Once the silver cools down and solidifies, each ring is cut from the casting tree. We spend hours at the bench using hand files to remove any blemishes, sharp edges, and rough textures.
CHAPTER TEN
YOUR WORDS INSIDE
This is where the ring becomes personal. Upon your request, we engrave names, dates, or clean text inside the band or on the back of our necklaces with sharp precision.
CHAPTER ELEVEN
POLISHING & RHODIUM FINISH
We polish every piece by hand to bring out the natural luster of the silver. Then, we apply a fine layer of Rhodium plating to shield the sterling silver from natural oxidation and everyday wear.
CHAPTER TWELVE
WHITE-GLOVE QUALITY CONTROL
Perfection is non-negotiable. Every finished ring undergoes a rigorous, multi-point inspection under magnification. We check the structural integrity, surface smoothness, and exact sizing. If a piece shows even a microscopic flaw, it is rejected, melted down, and completely recycled.
CHAPTER THIRTEEN
FINAL CHECK & PACKAGING
We inspect every ring one last time under the light. If it meets our quality standards, it is placed in our custom packaging and shipped directly from our hands to yours.
